Tell me more about your business (what do you do, who do you help, what does your workday look like, how do people find out about you).
My hope and goal as a yoga/movement teacher and studio is that we are not only building a great community but facilitating a space for people to heal, transform and release stress.
My day to day varies depending on meetings and whatever the world of owning your own business looks like that day. Sometimes I’m putting out fires and sometimes things are more chill. You learn to ride the waves and become a professional problem solver.
SHORT AND SWEET:
3 words you would use to describe yourself:
Curious, Authentic, Kind
Always…
Be kind, it’s not that hard.
Never…
Make assumptions and alway listen to both sides of a story.
Favourite beauty regime, I mean you never miss this step, no matter what
I never ever go to bed without washing my face and using a serum of some sort.
3 things you could not live without:
Coffee, my dogs, laughter.
GIVE IT TO ME ADVICE:
What advice do you have for women who want to age naturally:
We are all going to get old (if we are lucky), stop chasing your 20 year old self and invest in your future self. They have so much more to offer you.
If you could tell your younger self one thing that you know would have a BIG impact on the current version of you - what would it be?
I’m pretty forgiving of my younger self, but I guess I’d say slow down, just a little.
How do you relax your nervous system? Or best nervous system relaxation technique.
I use a meditation app and I love it. For anyone having a hard time trying to get into a meditation practice i highly recommend it. There is no “right” way to meditate, lie down, sit up, walk. Just take some time with your own thoughts.
Bucket list vacation that you hope to embark on in the next 5 years (where to, and why?)
Gosh this is so hard. There is so much to see but I have to stick with Europe, anywhere in Europe is amazing. I’d love to spend 3 months a year in another country and fully immerse myself in the culture.
In 25 years how would you like to be remembered MOST? 1 sentence or less.
As someone who empowered other women to lead from a place of love and abundance for all.
